Please read our shipping/return policies prior to ordering

 

Because of the weight of the plants and the way Priority Shipping is calculated, shipping only increases after every 2 plants. In other words 2 plants will cost the same to ship as 1 plant, and 4 plants will cost the same to ship as 3 plants.

 So, we highly recommend you order in multiples of 2 plants to save on shipping.  

SHIPPING DISCOUNTS!!!!  If you order multiple herb plants you can get a shipping discount of up to $12.00!  Here's how.... 

During checkout enter one of the following Discount Codes, depending on the number of plants you are ordering.

  • 8HERBS - for 8-10 herb plants (for a $5.00 discount)
  • 12HERBS - for 12-14 herb plants (for a $8.00 discount)
  • 16HERBS - for 16 or more herb plants (for a $12.00 discount)

Please note that the shipping discount is not available to local customers that pick-up their herbs at the farm.

We strive to ship your order within 3 days of receiving it.  However, we only ship live plants on Mondays & Tuesdays, via Priority Mail.  This ensures that your plants don't get stuck in a post office or depot over the weekend.  In addition, if the weather is not conducive to having healthy plants upon arrival then we'll email you and let you know when your plants will be shipped. 

  • Retail Orders are processed & shipped in the order they are received. Hence, the old adage "early bird catches the best worms" is true when it comes to ordering herbs.  Order early to get the best selection.

  • We do not ship outside of the U.S. and we do not ship to Arizona, California or Hawaii

  • We ship plants via USPS Priority Mail.  We ship all other merchandise via regular USPS mail or UPS Ground.

  • Shipping charges are not included in the price of plants. Shipping is calculated based on current USPS Priorty fees.  We do NOT add any additional packaging or labor to shipping rates. 

Customer Service to our herb buying friends is of the utmost importance to us and it shows in our packaging and handling of your plants. However, upon arrival please give them some TLC by watering them well and letting them acclimate in the shade for a day or two before being planted. 

If plants arrive damaged please notify us within 72 hours via email or phone for us to address the situation to your satisfaction.

There is stress placed on plants during shipping as you can well imagine. Yellowed leaves and some broken stems are common. Because we are a family owned operation, we take a good look at each plant before packaging it for shipping.  We handle each plant individually and take great care during packaging.   If after 3 days of receiving your order and following our care instructions you are unhappy with a plant we will refund your money for the plant.

POLICY REGARDING DAMAGED PLANTS & RETURN POLICY: We must be notified of any problem with any order whether it is damaged, wrong plants ordered or anything else. We cannot accept returns without prior notification. Please notify us within 72 hours of receipt of order of any problems.
